Help reach the ultimate finish line—a world without cancer—by running the Boston Marathon® for Dana-Farber Cancer Institute (DFCI), one of the world’s leading centers of cancer research and treatment. It is the only cancer center in the country ranked in the top 4 for both adult and pediatric cancer programs. Dana-Farber is dedicated to a unique and equal balance between cancer research and care, translating the results of discovery into new treatments for patients locally and around the world.
The Dana-Farber Marathon Challenge (DFMC) is our team of Boston Marathon invitational runners, time-qualified Boston registrants, and virtual participants united by their personal commitment and determination to conquer cancer. Now in its 33nd season, DFMC directs all funds raised to the Claudia Adams Barr Program in Innovative Basic Cancer Research, a critical Dana-Farber initiative at the forefront of transformative scientific discovery.
DFMC teammates share a rewarding, memorable experience while supporting a superb, pioneering institution:
- Fundraising made easy and fun
